Hiring Associate Veterinarian

 

Located in the stunning panhandle of North Idaho, we are a predominantly small animal practice with a modest percentage of large animal patients.  Silver Valley Veterinary Clinic & Benewah Veterinary Clinic are seeking an Associate Veterinarian committed to practicing high quality medicine and surgery to join our team of six clinicians and excellent support staff. We are proud to offer excellent veterinary care including but not limited to in-house lab equipment, digital X-Ray (stationary and portable options), ultrasound, dental services, as well as specialized soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.  Our facility also offers a boarding area for those clients in need of a reliable caregiver for their beloved pet.

Our newly hired veterinarian will be free to pursue a strictly small animal career or include large animal services if so desired.  We are asking for applicants with strong communication skills and we will consider applicants on an individual basis. We are happy to provide needed support/training/mentorship for the recent graduate that is the right person for our team.

Silver Valley Veterinary Clinic is located in Pinehurst, Idaho. Beautiful in and of itself, Pinehurst is just 30 minutes from renowned Coeur d’Alene and 10 minutes from one of our region’s most popular destinations, Silver Mountain Ski Resort and Silver Rapids Waterpark.  Benewah Veterinary Clinic is located approximately one hour south of Pinehurst nestled within the tight knit community of St. Maries. Hiring Front Desk Receptionist (posted 5/25/2023)

We are currently searching for a front desk receptionist to join our team at Silver Valley Veterinary Clinic in Pinehurst, ID. Experience is preferred, but not required as we are willing to train a candidate who exemplifies the qualities we are looking for. Tentatively we are filling a 35-40 hour position, which would include a 4 day work week. Interviews are expected to take place the first week of June 2023. 

Qualifications

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

  • As the first person clients see when they enter our office, you create a great impression through your friendly and professional demeanor

  • Prepare files for appointments, surgeries and boarding pets

  • Use a multiple line phone system for answering phone calls and communicating with staff

  • Schedule appointments, take messages, assist doctors with client communication

  • Collect and process payments, prepare an end of day deposit

  • Filing, preparing mail/shipments

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly wage, DOE

Kennel Attendant (posted 5/25/2023)

We are accepting applications for a part-time Kennel Attendant. Must be 16 years old to apply. This is an entry-level position and includes all aspects of care for boarding pets, cleaning the facility, laundry, stocking and assisting staff or doctors as needed.
